Ipswich started brightly and took the lead in the 22nd minute through Florentino Luís, who finished brilliantly after being set up by Abdoul Ouattara.
The visitors went into half-time with a 1–0 advantage, but Hull City returned with a completely different attitude.
Tim Iroegbunam brought the home side level in the 58th minute, finishing from the right side of the box after an assist from Oliver McBurnie.
Just ten minutes later, McBurnie turned scorer, firing home from a free kick in the 68th minute to complete Hull’s turnaround and put the Tigers ahead 2–1.
However, Ipswich refused to surrender. Julio Enciso produced a stunning finish from outside the box in the 74th minute, finding the top corner to restore parity and rescue a valuable point for his side.
Both teams pushed for a winner, but neither could find the decisive goal before the final whistle.
