Paris Saint-Germain have suffered another major setback, with Ousmane Dembélé set to remain under medical care for the next few weeks following a thigh injury.

Paris Saint-Germain’s injury problems continue to grow after the club confirmed that Ousmane Dembélé has sustained an injury to his left thigh, leaving the French forward facing several weeks of treatment.

The injury occurred during PSG’s thrilling 4–2 Champions League victory over Barcelona on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Dembélé was forced off early in the match, adding to an increasingly worrying situation for manager Luis Enrique.

Four Major Absences for PSG

Dembélé’s injury is another painful blow for the European champions, who are now dealing with several important players on the sidelines.

The current injury list includes:

– ❌ Nuno Mendes: sidelined with a thigh injury.

– ❌ Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: suffered a ruptured ACL and is set to undergo surgery.

– ❌ Marquinhos: dealing with a right-thigh injury and expected to remain under treatment for several weeks.

– ❌ Ousmane Dembélé: suffering from a left-thigh injury, with several weeks of treatment ahead.

PSG’s official medical update confirmed that Dembélé and Marquinhos will remain under treatment over the coming weeks, while Kvaratskhelia faces a much longer recovery following his serious knee injury.

A Huge Challenge for Luis Enrique

Losing Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia at the same time leaves PSG without two influential attacking players. Dembélé’s pace, creativity and ability to create chances will be difficult to replace, while Kvaratskhelia’s dribbling and attacking threat are equally important to the team.

The absence of captain Marquinhos also creates concerns in defence, while Nuno Mendes’ continued unavailability further limits the manager’s options.

Luis Enrique will now have to rely on the depth of his squad and give other players greater responsibility as PSG navigate a demanding run of fixtures.

Can PSG Survive This Injury Crisis?

Despite the injuries, PSG showed their quality by beating Barcelona 4–2 in the Champions League. However, maintaining that level of performance without several key players will be a significant test.

The immediate priority will be to manage the injured players carefully and avoid rushing them back before they are ready.

With important domestic and European matches ahead, PSG cannot afford to let these setbacks derail their season.

One thing is certain: PSG may have beaten Barcelona, but the injury bill is becoming increasingly costly.

Can Luis Enrique keep PSG competing for every trophy with four key players missing?
