Galatasaray are making their presence felt at Rams Park! The Turkish giants have taken a commanding 2–0 lead against VfB Stuttgart at half-time in their UEFA Champions League clash, with Aleksey Batrakov stealing the spotlight.
Batrakov has been the difference between the two sides, finding the back of the net twice to put Galatasaray in a strong position heading into the break.
Stuttgart have struggled to contain the home side’s attacking threat, and their afternoon has become even more difficult as Galatasaray continue to build momentum.
However, the first half was not without controversy. Tempers flared late in the half following a confrontation involving Barış Yılmaz and Chris Führich, with players from both teams getting involved in a heated exchange.
With the home crowd firmly behind them, Galatasaray will be looking to maintain their advantage after the restart, while Stuttgart face a huge challenge if they are to turn things around.
